Funeral services for Mrs. Henry (Elize Wilhelmina) Rink, 80, were held Wednesday, Feb. 25 at 1:30 in St. Matthew Lutheran church. Rev. Arnold Schlueter conducted the services and interment was in Oakwood cemetery.

Mrs. Rink suffered a heart attack and died at John McDonald hospital Monday morning.

She was born April 15, 1878 at Sillensted, Germany, the daughter of Diedrich and Elize Shafer Dirks.

She married Henry J. Rink Aug. 26, 1899, at Wilmshaven, Germany. They came to the United States in 1907 and farmed in the Monticello area until 1937 when they retired to live in Monticello. She was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran church.

Mrs. Rink is survived by her husband; three sons, Henry Jr. of Monticello, Herman of Beloit, Wis., and Edward of Poplar Grove, Ill.; six daughters, Mrs. Carl (Hannah) Himebaugh of Monticello, Mrs. Herman (Anna) Hubbard of Dubuque, Mrs. Junior (Mary) Wilson of Hopkinton, Mrs. Wesley (Elizabeth) Wilson of Rockford, Ill., Mrs. Ernest (Frieda) Ortgies of Anamosa and Mrs. Clarence (Clara) Bader of Anamosa.

Also surviving are 29 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren; one brother, Will Dirks of Monticello; three sisters, Mrs. Eilert Onken of Monticello, Mrs. John Doden of Langworthy and Mrs. Carl Hanken of Wangerooge, Germany.
