MONTICELLO - Funeral services for Richard Renk, 49, will be held Friday, Jan. 26, at Sacred Heart Catholic church at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Oakwood cemetery.

Mr. Renk died early Tuesday morning at Veterans hospital in Iowa City, where he had been a patient since Monday following a heart attack.

He was born Aug. 15, 1918, the son of Karl and Nellie Farrell Renk, Monticello. He was employed for Matthiessen Auto & Supply company in Monticello for many years. More recently, he was employed at Clinton Machine in Maquoketa.

Survivors include two brothers, Charles of Shiprock, New Mexico, and Paul of Monticello; and one sister, Mrs. William (Kathryn) Connelly of Cedar Rapids.
