OXFORD JCT. - Funeral services for John Homrighausen, 94, were held Tuesday afternoon at Hayden funeral home, with the Rev. Harold Koenig of Wheatland, officiating. Interment was in Big Rock cemetery.

Mr. Homrighausen died Saturday, June 10, at Oxford Jct. He was born May 19, 1873 at Wheatland, the son of Phillip and Caroline Homrighausen.

He married Anna Knable of Wheatland. He was employed by the Milwaukee railroad for 36 years. For the past 15 years he had lived with his daughter, Mrs. Lillian Petersen in Oxford Jct.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one daughter, two sisters and four brothers.

Survivors include: two sons, Ed of DeWitt and Salem of New Albany, Ind.; four daughters, Mrs. Melvin (Hilda) Schwank of Moline, Mrs. Lillian Petersen of Oxford Jct., Mrs. Dean (Cecelia) Taylor of Council Bluffs, and Mrs. Harold (Lola) Roehlk of Durant; 13 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were grandsons of the deceased, William Homrighausen, Salem Homrighausen, Jr., Ronald Roehlk, Dean Petersen, Paul Taylor and Melvin Schwank, Jr.
