Funeral services for Mrs. Helen Swanson Harford were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 28 at Goettsch Funeral home in Monticello with Rev. Gideon I. Krein conducting the services. Interment was in Oakwood cemetery. Mrs. Harford died at John McDonald hospital Saturday, Jan. 24.

She was born Mar. 25, 1891, the daughter of John and Mary Farnsworth Swanson. She married Lloyd Keith Apr. 7, 1918, and he died in 1922. She married George Harford Aug. 27, 1938, and he died in 1957. She had worked for the Northwestern Bell Telephone company for 30 years and was retired. Mrs. Harford was a member of the Presbyterian church, Order of the Eastern Star, Pythian Sisters and Pioneers of America.

She is survived by a son, James Keith of Los Angeles, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Fred (Mary) Thurston of Rockford, Ill. and Helen Ann Harford of Monticello; one brother, Joseph Swanson of Hopkinton; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
