OLIN - Funeral services for Mrs. Delbert Stingley, 85, were held at the Methodist church at 2 p.m. June 30. The Rev. Robert G. Jones officiated. Burial was in Olin cemetery.

Mrs. Stingley died June 27 at Cedar Manor, Tipton. Lura Ernestine Vaughn was born Dec. 22, 1881 at Lohrville, the daughter of Rudolph S. and Ida Fitch Vaughn.

She attended school near Onslow and taught after receiving teacher training at Cedar Falls. She was a member of the Methodist church and a charter member of the 20th Century club.

On April 22, 1920, she married Delbert Stingley. Their married life was spent in Olin.

She is survived by her husband; two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Rook of Hopkinton and Mrs. Forrest Frye, Portland, Ore.; a brother, Forrest Vaughn, Long Beach, Calif.; two half-sisters, Mrs. Addie Phillips of Marion and Mrs. Ethel Hands of Davenport.

Pallbearers were Edward Kirkpatrick, Charlie Morton, Robert Mershon, Richard Mershon, John Burrack and Donald Morton.
