Funeral services for Mrs. Imogene D. Stuhler, lifelong resident of Monticello, were held Monday afternoon, June 4, at 3 o'clock at the Congregational church. Rev. Donald Chapman had charge of the services.

Born September 15, 1871, in Monticello, Mrs. Stuhler was the daughter of Fred and Phoebe McCoy Dunham. She attended the Monticello public school and was a graduate of the class of 1888. One of her many interests rested in the Alumni association of the school.

Following her graduation, she attended the Ypsilanti Normal School near Ann Arbor, Michigan, and taught music in Elgin, Illinois and the Monticello school for a few years.

She was married in 1894 to Frederick Paul Stuhler at Oaklawn, Illinois. Mr. Stuhler preceded her in death in January, 1921.

Mrs. Stuhler was a very active member of the Congregational church, also a member of the Friday club and of the P.E.O. until a few years ago.

Survivors include one son, Fred S. Stuhler, of Monticello, and one daughter, Mrs. James Carter of Atlanta, George. She is also survived by five grandchildren.

Pallbearers included Neal Hayden, Arthur Skelley, Robert Savage, George Timmins, Max McCrabb and Alfred Egger. Burial was made at the Oakwood cemetery.

The Goettsch funeral home had charge of arrangements.
