ONSLOW - Funeral services were held Friday, Jan. 2, in the Wallace Funeral home at Wyoming for Maizie T. Green, who died Monday, Dec. 29, in Mercy hospital, Dubuque, following an extended illness with heart trouble. Rev. Kenneth Harden, pastor of the Wyoming Methodist church officiated. Walter Sullivan sang "In the Garden" and "Abide With Me" accompanied by Mrs. Sullivan at the organ.

Interment took place in the Clay cemetery. Pallbearers were Jack McLaughlin, Clarence Orr, Tim Ripperton, Francis Moran, Harm Harms, and Keith Jansen.

Maizie Meade, daughter of Lester and Mayme Meade, was born April 30, 1923, at Oxford Mills. She attended the Oxford Junction high school and was graduated with the class of 1940. On March 12, 1942, she was married to Haward H. Green, who with their one son, Gerald, survives. Surviving also are three brothers, Leslie Meade, LeRoy Meade and Herbert J. Meade, and two sisters, Mrs. Viola Parmenber and Mrs. Bernice Carnahan.
