OXFORD JCT. - Funeral services for Elmer Pegoriek,71, were held Friday, Dec. 1, at Hayden funeral home with the Rev. Robert Christensen officiating. Burial was in Mayflower cemetery.

Mr. Pegoriek died Nov. 28 at Mercy hospital, Cedar Rapids, after a long illness. He was born Jan. 30, 1896 in Jones county, the son of Vince and Fannie Kalous Pegoriek. He has always farmed in this area. He had never married.

Survivors include one brother, Louis of Wyoming, and two sisters, Mrs. Josie Soukup of Cedar Rapids and Mrs. Emma Triltsch of Springville. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and three sisters.
