Proctor Perley, 83, two year resident of Monticello, passed away at the John McDonald hospital Thursday evening, May 24, following a short illness.

Funeral services were held Monday morning at the Cedar Memorial chapel in Cedar Rapids, with burial at the Cedar Memorial cemetery. Rev. J. Richard Waggoner officiated at the services.

Surviving relatives are Mrs. H. O. Flathead and Mrs. George Deering of Reader, North Dakota, and M. L. Ridgeway and W. L. Perley of Cedar Rapids.
