Dr. J. G. Perkins, Anamosa, father of Dr. Lyman Perkins of Monticello, died Saturday in his home in Anamosa after a long illness.
Services for Dr. Perkins, who was 70 last May 2, were held Tuesday in the Methodist church in Anamosa. He had been a practicing chiropractor in Anamosa for the past 34 years.
He is survived by his wife, two children, Lyman of Monticello and Loretta of Milwaukee, Wis., three sisters and two half brothers.
