Raymond Bramer died October 26, 1982 at the Jackson County Public Hospital in Maquoketa, Iowa. He was 69 years old.

He was born at Spencerville, Iowa on February 10, 1913. The son of Edward and Maggy Womachka Bramer, he attended rural school in Spencerville and graduated from the Wyoming School System.

On March 23, 1940 he married Bernice Close in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, but lived his entire life in Wyoming. He worked at Iowa Manufacturing Company in Cedar Rapids until his retirement in 1976.

He was a 50 year member of Modern Woodmen of America and a member of the Wyoming Presbyterian Church.

He is survived by his wife Bernice, one daughter, Rita, Mrs. Acel Nowachek of rural Maquoketa, and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Services were held on Thursday, October 28, 1982 at 1:30 p.m. at the Wyoming Presbyterian Church with burial in the Wyoming Cemetery. The Rev. Clifford Rogers officiated. Mrs. Gary Holst was soloist and Mrs. Tom Paulsen was organist. The pallbearers were: Arthur Ehlers, Allen Husmann, Richard Ellison, Howard Emerson, Gilber Milota, Jr. and Ross Hamilton.
