Funeral service for Arthur L. Schnepp, 72, who died Oct. 5, at a Cedar Rapids hospital, was held Friday, Oct.8, at the Hayden Funeral Home in Olin. Rev. Fred Richardson, St. Paul's Methodist pastor, presided at the 11 a.m. service. Mrs. Tom Levsen was organist and pallbearers were Ralph Eggert, Glenn Reginnitter, Harold Scripture, Marlin Lehrman, Gene Lloyd, and Wayne Bequeath, all of Wyoming. Burial was in the Olin cemetery.

Arthur lived nearly all his life in the Olin area where he farmed and worked as a mechanic. He was born at Olin on April 7, 1910, the son of John and Nora Weeks Schnepp.

On September 24, 1938, he was married to Kristina Matejka at Kohoka, MO.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are two daughters, Adrienne, Mrs. Russel Rickels, Mt. Pleasant; Sandra, Mrs. Dennis Albaugh, Morley; one son, Stewart, Hale; eight grandchildren, one brother, John Jr., Tinley Park, IL; one sister, Mrs. Howard "Lyla Faye" Hora, Cedar Rapids.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and two brothers.
