Funeral services for Sarah Ann Moneypenny, 93, Olin, were held Saturday, March 27, at the Hayden Funeral Home in Olin. Rev. Edward Peterson was the officiating pastor. Pallbearers were Edward Wood, Charles Strack, Leonard Richman, Leroy Wood, Allen Kraft and Rollen Kavar. Burial was at Forest Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Moneypenny died March 24 at the Anamosa Community Hospital.

She was born at Lanesville, Ohio, January 23, 1889, the daughter of John and Magdalena Gruber Fulton. When she was 18 years of age she moved to Stanwood with her family.

She was married to Frank Wood in 1910. He died in 1920. In 1921 she was married to Perry Moneypenny. They lived in Olin until 1928 when they moved to Wisconsin, returning to Olin in 1945. She had been a patient at a nursing home for the past 10 years.

She is survived by five sons: Ralph and Frank Wood, Olin; Dale Wood, Stanwood; Floyd Moneypenny, Fennimore, Wisc., and Delbert Moneypenny, Warner Robins, Ga.; one daughter, Leone Peck, McGregor, Iowa; ? grandchildren and ? great-grandchildren, and seven step-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. Her husbands, one daughter, two sons and two grandchildren preceded her in death.
