A Cass Center woman, Mrs. Mary Juilfs, committed suicide Tuesday morning according to the decision of Jones County Coroner Howard Campbell.

According to information supplied by Lawrence LaBarge, county deputy sheriff, Mrs. Juilfs had been despondent prior to her death. The 65 year old woman is presumed to have removed the top from an outside cistern which was nearly full of water and to have drowned herself. She is survived by her husband, a daughter and two sons.
