WYOMING - Funeral services for Custav VonSprecken, 95, were held Saturday, May 13, at Zion American Lutheran church in Wyoming. The Rev. Alfred Mardorf performed the services and interment was in the Wyoming cemetery.

He died Wednesday, May 10, following a lengthy illness. He was born Feb. 7, 1871, at Helde, Schleswig, Holstein, Germany. On Feb. 27, 1895 he married Lena Luckstead of Wyoming and the couple farmed in the Wyoming area until retiring.

He was preceded in death by his wife July 3, 1966, two daughters in infancy, one grandson and one great-grandchild.

Surviving are six sons, George of Wyoming, Henry of Monticello, Ernest of Oxford Jct., Claude of Martelle, John of Clarence, Fred of Olin; 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Glenn VonSprecken, David VonSprecken, Dennis VonSprecken, William Johnston, Ross DePue and Leo VonMuenster.
