Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 1:30 from the Turner Chapel in Cedar Rapids for Mrs. Frank Snyder who died in a Cedar Rapids hospital Monday afternoon following a brief illness. Burial will be in Cedar Memorial cemetery; services will be conducted by Rev. E. H. Widmann.

Mrs. Snyder was born Mary Alvina Behrends in Onslow on May 27, 1910, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Behrends. She was married in Cedar Rapids on Jan. 5, 1931. Her father preceded her in death.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a daughter, Miss Loretta Snyder; a son, Robert, both of Cedar Rapids; her mother, Mrs. Minnie Behrends of Monticello; two brothers, Louis of Amber and Henry of Monticello; and two sisters, Mrs. Vincent (Velma) Simmons of Prairieburg and Mrs. Raymond (Anna) Schoon of Monticello. She is also survived by 14 nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Snyder was a member of Trinity Lutheran church in Cedar Rapids, where she had made her home for the past 20 years.
