OLIN - Funeral services for Mrs. John Schnepp were held at the Campbell Funeral home in Olin on Monday, Jan. 12 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Lloyd Dutro in charge. Richard Frazier, soloist sang "Near The Cross" and "Sweet By and By" accompanied by Mrs. Louis Rohwedder. Flower committee from the Olin E.U.B. church was in charge of the flowers.

Casket bearers were Joe Pieper, Arch Grafft, Henry Hanken, Cecil Fall, Harry Gerard and Bliss Switzer. Interment was in the Olin cemetery. She had been in failing health for some time and several weeks ago suffered a stroke from which she never fully rallied.

Nora Dell Weeks, daughter of Wilford and Elva Saum Weeks, was born near Olin, Iowa, Oct. 2, 1884 and died at Anamosa Jan. 9, at the age of 74 years. She was one of a family of four children.

She grew up in the vicinity of Olin, attending the rural schools of that area. On July 25, 1898 she was united in marriage to John Schnepp at Anamosa. They farmed in the Olin area for many years, later moving to Olin where they had lived most of the time since. Six children, four sons and two daughters were born.

She was a charter member of Camp 7465, Royal Neighbors of America at Olin.

Mrs. Schnepp was preceded in death by one son in 1928, her husband, Feb. 28, 1948; both her parents and two sisters.

She is survived by five children; Orpha, Mrs. Harold McDaniel, Anamosa; Ralph Schnepp, Waterloo; Arthur Schnepp, Olin; John Jr. Schnepp, Cedar Rapids; Lyla Faye, Mrs. Howard Hora, Cedar Rapids. Also surviving are one brother, Harry Weeks, Olin; 15 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
