LORAN HART, OLIN - Word has been received of the death of Loran Hart, 66, of Olin at Tempe, Ariz. on Sunday, Dec. 28.

Mr. Hart has been a long-time resident of Olin where he operated a service station until four years ago when his health necessitated his moving to Arizona.

His body is being returned to Olin for interment. He is survived by his wife and other relatives.

Funeral services for Loren V. Hart who died Dec. 28 at Tempe, Ariz., were held at the Methodist church, Olin, Jan. 2 with Rev. P. J. Daba officiating. Mrs. Louis Rohwedder provided organ music and Mrs. Merle Ballou sang two solos "It is Well" and "Beyond the Sunset". Acting as pallbearers were August Ahrendsen, Max Coppess, Lawrence Dean, Ivan Duncan, Peter Sieveka and Glen Tenley.

Loran V. Hart was born Oct. 9, 1892, at Stanwood, the son of Horace J. and Cora Mae Coppess Hart. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Morton, and a sister, Mrs. Burr Aylsworth. On Feb. 4, 1914 he was married to Hazel Williams of Olin. They lived on the farm where he was born until moving to Olin in 1942. He was engaged in buying and selling livestock for a number of years, later operating a service station at Olin. Due to failing health he and Mrs. Hart moved to Tempe, Ariz. in December of 1944 and lived there until his death.

He was a member of the Methodist church at Stanwood for many years and later his membership was transferred to the Methodist church at Olin. He was also a member of Freemont Lodge A.F.& A.M. Nol. 616 at Stanwood and a past patron of Idelle chapter O.E.S., Stanwood.

Surviving are his wife, Hazel; a niece, Mrs. Barbara Paulsen of Stanwood, and an uncle, Wallace Hart of Wheatland.
