Funeral services were held Monday at 10 o'clock for Mrs. William M. Lubben, who passed away suddenly at her home Thursday evening. Born May 31, 1897, she was the daughter of Adde and Gesche Rickels Harms. On March 18, 1916 she was united in marriage to William M. Lubben at the Castle Grove Lutheran church, near Monticello. They made their home in Castle Grove township until 1944 when they moved to their present home in Monticello.

Surviving are her husband, William M., and the following children: Irvin, Monticello; Esther (Mrs. Dale Falconer), Ryan; Lorraine (Mrs. Robert Hudak) of Bridgeport, Conn.; Arlent (Mrs. Dale Griffith), Monticello, and Robert and Shirley, both at home. One child, John Marvin, died in infancy.

Also surviving are five grandchildren: two sisters, Mrs. Norman Wilson and Olena Steiner, both of Monticello; two brothers, Edward Harms, Wyoming, and George Harms, Detroit.

Pallbearers included Fred Butschi, George Minnis, Ernest Landis, Earl Benedict, Herman Herren and Howard Skelley. Interment was made at Oakwood cemetery. Goettsch funeral home had charge of arrangements.
