WYOMING - Funeral services for Henry Eichhorn, 73, former Jones county sheriff, were held Monday at Hayden Funeral home. The Rev. Theodore Neeley officiated. Interment was in Wyoming cemetery.

Mr. Eichhorn died Feb. 17 in Veterans hospital in Iowa City. He was born March 25, 1893 in Oxford township, the son of Henry and Anna Brodersen Eichhorn.

He attended the Wyoming schools and was a veteran of World War I. He was Jones county sheriff from 1933 to 1950.

Survivors include his wife, Amalia, Postville; one daughter, Mrs. Eva (Molley) Owen, Postville; two grandchildren, and one brother Thomas of Wyoming.

Pallbearers were Richard Eichhorn, John Eichhorn, Stanley Eichhorn, Howard Eichhorn, Marvin Haas and Robert Fishwild.
