William Dale Grafft, 76, of 282 Foote St., NW, Cedar Rapids, died Saturday at Mercy hospital following a short illness.

Born August 7, 1905 in Olin, he married Ruth Benadom in May 1935 in Anamosa. She died in May 1968. He married Ruth Blake on Aug. 7, 1970 in Cedar Rapids. He was employed by Quaker Oaks until his retirement in 1970.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Dayle Cayler of Tampa, Fla., and Fran Brunssen of Sacramento, Calif.; a stepdaughter, Betty Hammill of Cedar Rapids; two stepsons, Raymond Blake of Cedar Rapids and Bill Blake of Ollie; three grandchildren; a brother, Leland Grafft of Sun City, Ariz.; and a sister, Leta Akin of Woodbury, N.J.

Services were held at noon Monday at Turner Chapel West by the Rev. B. Gordon Packard of St. James United Methodist Church. Burial was in Antioch Cemetery, Anamosa.
