POMEROY - Funeral services for Mrs. Wilhelmine Tjebben, 71, a native of Monticello, were held Monday at Immanuel Lutheran church in Pomeroy. She died July 22 at Lutheran hospital, Sioux City.

Wilhelmine Tjebben, daughter of John and Margaret Heeren Behrends, was born Sept. 30, 1884, at Monticello. On Feb. 26, 1905, she was married to T. J. Tjebben at Pomeroy. He preceded her in death on April 23, 1965. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one sister and two brothers.

Surviving are four children, eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, one brother, Elwill Behrends of Monticello and four sisters, Lizzie Poppe, Sophia Jacobs and Emma Jacobs, all of Monticello and Alma Gill of San Diego, Calif.
