TEMPLE HILL - Funeral services for Mrs. Thomas Hirtz, 81, were held June 15 at St. Martin's Catholic church in Cascade. The Rev. Daniel O'Sullivan was celebrant, the Rev. Robert J. Saunders, Temple Hill, deacon, and the Rt. Rev. Msgr. E. P. Lorenz, Monticello, subdeacon. Burial was in Calvary cemetery, Cascade.

Mrs. Hirtz died June 12 at John McDonald hospital, Monticello.

She is survived by two sons, Lorraine and Raphael, both of Cascade; four daughters, Mrs. Florian (Helen) Recker, Hopkinton, and Rosaleen, Marie and Rita at home; seven grandchildren; one brother, Peter Smith, Bellwood, Nebr. and one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Knockel, Cascade.
