WYOMING - Funeral services for Albert Van Slyke, 75, who died Friday evening at the Jones county home, were held from the Harrington funeral home in Wyoming, Saturday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. F. E. Somerville, pastor of the Methodist church in charge. Burial was in the North Madison cemetery near Center Junction. The deceased was born Sept. 1, 1875, at Center Junction and lived his life in that community. He never married. He had been a patient at Mercy hospital, Anamosa, for several weeks before being removed to the county home recently. Survivors are one sister, Mrs. Emily E. Nichols of Hawthorne, Calif., twenty nephews and nieces and two great nephews and nieces.
