MONTICELLO - Funeral services for Dale Sanders Clark, Cedar Rapids, were held Saturday afternoon, Dec. 24, at Goettsch funeral home. Interment was in the Oakwood cemetery. The Rev. Roger D. Patton conducted the Memorial services.

Mr. Clark died at his home in Cedar Rapids early Wednesday morning, Dec. 21, due to accidental asphyxiation in his car according to Dr. Perry Harris, Linn county medical examiner.

He was born in Terrill Sept. 14, 1912, the son of Charles E. and Rhoda Sanders Clark. Later the family moved to the Monticello community. He was a 1929 graduate of Monticello high school.

He married LoRee Gillilan Sept. 25, 1933, at Galena, Ill. For the past 23 years the Clarks had lived in Cedar Rapids where he was a tool and dye-maker. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, D. Calvin of Huntington Beach, Calif., and Harold N. of Cedar Rapids; three grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Chester Anderson of Buffalo, Minn.; five brothers, Lloyd, Leigh and Donald of Monticello, Clyde of Lake Park and Marion of Ontario, Calif.
