WYOMING - Double funeral services for Claude and Martha Sears were held Monday, May 9, at the Wyoming Presbyterian church with the Rev. Wayne Norris of Greenfield officiating. Burial was in the Wyoming cemetery.

Both Mr. and Mrs. Sears died Friday, May 6. Mr. Sears, 63, died suddenly Friday morning. Mrs. Sears, 59, died that afternoon in Brandt Nursing home.

Claude A. Sears was born Oct. 13, 1902 in Onslow, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Will Sears. He was a life long resident of the Onslow and Wyoming communities.

Martha Louise Williams Sears was born April 15, 1907 in Ohio. She came to Wyoming as a young girl to make her home with an aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. James Inglis.

The Sears were married June 17, 1924 at Manchester and spent their entire married life in the Wyoming community.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Leo (Ann) Marshall, Litchfield, Ky., and Mrs. Warwick (Claudia) Tobias, Oak Park, Ill.; one son, William, Grand Prairie, Tex., and six grandchildren.

Pallbearers for Mr. Sears were Raymond Huggans, Lyle Tompkins, Marvin Hunwardsen, Harrison Morse, Royal Snyder and Walter Hartman.

Pallbearers for Mrs. Sears were Clifford Dirks, Howard Jamison, John Von Sprecken, Donald Dirks, Floyd Wilson and Keith Barber.
