MONTICELLO - Vivian (Vic) Colegrove, 47, Monticello sign painter, died Thursday, Sept. 30 at Veteran's Administration hospital in Iowa City following a long illness.

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon from Devaney Funeral home. The Rev. Howard Eldrenkamp officiated. Burial was at Oakwood cemetery.

He was born Oct. 5, 1917 at Cadillac, Mich., the son of Walter and Wilhelmina Loeffler Colegrove. He was a World War II veteran.

Survivors include one brother, Walther of Sidney, Australia and one aunt, Mrs. M. P. Edwards of Walled Lake, Mich.

Pallbearers included Robert Appleby, Donald Huggins, Arthur Rigby, Walter Appleby and James McDonald.
