OLIN - Funeral services for Samuel R. Alexander, 80, were conducted Friday afternoon by the Rev. M. L. Dutro at the Hayden Funeral Home. Burial was in the Olin cemetery.

Mr. Alexander had been in failing health for some time and died June 8, two days before his 81st birthday. He grew to manhood in the Center Jct. and Scotch Grove vicinity and attended the Onslow school.

Mr. Alexander married Zula Hayden at Anamosa, Apr. 2, 1918. The couple made their home in the Olin vicinity, moving into Olin 15 years ago.

He is survived by his wife; a son, Galen, Olin; two grandsons and a sister, Mrs. William Fullerton, Chicago, Ill.
