OLIN - Funeral services were conducted at 1:30 p.m., May 28 by Rev. Roger Hoppenworth for Mrs. Nellie Ketchum, 83, at Hayden Funeral home. Burial was in Olin cemetery.

Nellie Mae Dowden was born Feb. 22, 1882 at Monmouth, Ia. to George and Sarah Dowden.

Jan. 18, 1898 she married Fred Thomas Ketchum, their married life was spent in Jackson county. Mr. Ketchum died September 1961.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Floyd Baker, Dickinson, Tex.; Mrs. Floyd Horton, Center Point; Mrs. Paul Corne, California; and a son Paul Ketchum, Olin; also seven grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
