MONTICELLO - Funeral services for Mrs. Roger J. Pratt, 47, were held Saturday afternoon at 3 p.m. from the Peace United Church of Christ in Monticello, with the Rev. John Siegle officiating. Burial was made at Oakwood cemetery. Mrs. Pratt died Aug. 5 about 2:10 a.m. at John McDonald hospital following a brief illness.

Neva Maye Pratt was born April 18, 1918 near Hopkinton, the daughter of David and Lyla Roff Wilson. She was a 1935 graduate from Monticello high school and taught in rural schools of Jones county and later was a bookkeeper at the Sand Spring Creamery. She was married to Roger J. Pratt, Nov. 26, 1943, at San Francisco, Calif. and they lived for a time in that state, in Colorado Springs, Colo., and returned to Monticello in 1957.

Survivors include her husband; one son, Gary R. Pratt also of Monticello; two grandchildren; three brothers, Clarence Wilson and Leon Wilson both of Monticello and Gordon Wilson of Jesup, Md.; and two sisters, Mrs. George (Nola) Iaggi of Monticello and Mrs. John (Betty) Scott of Van Buren, Ark. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Pallbearers included Ray Marolf, Charles Martin, Robert Ferrall, Joe Huxtable, Edward Cox and Chauncey Carson.
