OLIN - Funeral services were held April 6 at the Methodist church for Mrs. Ben Hinrichsen, who died April 4. The Rev. John Schlosser was in charge. Burial was in Antioch cemetery near Anamosa.

Nellie Tenley Hinrichsen was born May 16, 1898 at Cando, N.D., one of nine children of Lawson J. and Elsie Hoover Tenley. At the age of 6 years, she moved with her parents to Morley where she attended school; later graduating from Olin high school.

Preceding her marriage she taught at several nearby rural schools. She was married Aug. 3, 1921 to Ben Hinrichsen at Wyoming. They have made their home in Jones and nearby counties. They were the parents of two children: Glenn at home and Mrs. Duane (Norma) Anderson of Center Jct., who with Mr. Hinrichsen survive her.

Also surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Ruth Smith, Mrs. Fred Austin, Mrs. Joe Hora, all of Morley and Mrs. Everett Koppenhaver, Martelle; and two grandchildren.
