MONTICELLO - Funeral services for Mrs. W. B. Willard, 94, widow of the late W. B. Willard, were held Saturday morning from Goettsch funeral home in Hopkinton. The Rev. Howard Eldrenkamp of Monticello officiated. Burial was made at Hopkinton cemetery.

Mrs. Willard died Wednesday morning, March 3, at John McDonald hospital, where she had been a patient since the Saturday prior to her death.

Emma Catherine Dolley was born in Buck Creek Nov. 14, 1870, the daughter of Theresa File and Henry Dolley. She was married to Willis B. Willard Jan. 13, 1892. They made their home on the Dolley farm near Buck Creek most of their married life until they retired in 1946 and moved to their home in Hopkinton.

Mr. Willard died April 11, 1959, after which Mrs. Willard made her home with her children, due to failing eyesight. She was a member of the Hopkinton Methodist church and the Birthday club. Besides her husband, two sons preceded her in death, Raymond who died in infancy and Dale who died in 1958 and three brothers Melville, Will and Theodore Dolley.

Mr. and Mrs. Willard raised three grandsons in their home. They were Herbert Sill, Hayward, Calif.; Verdon Sill, Fort Calhoun, Neb.; and Elgin Sill of Miami, Fla.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Vincent (Jennie) Hands of Kirkwood, Mo. and Mrs. Gerald (Theresa) Rohr of Monticello; one son, Roy of Earlville; nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren and a step-brother, Lewis Peters of Delhi.

Pallbearers were Rudolph Reggentine, Charles Reggentine, Ray Billings, Herman Dolley, Franc Flannagan and Paul Gienapp, Sr.
