WYOMING - Funeral services for William Ernest DeMoss, 82, were held Nov. 4 at the Wyoming Presbyterian church with the Rev. Wayne Norris officiating.

Mr. DeMoss, a lifetime resident of the Wyoming area, died Nov. 1 at Kleinecks rest home in Onslow following a lengthy illness. He was born Jan. 24, 1881 at Emaline in Jackson county, the son of William Franklin and Joanna French DeMoss. On July 26, 1910, he was married to Viola Victoria Ireland of Wyoming. He was a retired farmer.

Survivors include his wife; four daughters, Mrs. Chauncy (Hulda) Robinson of Monticello, Mrs. Martin (Helen) Weets of Andrew, Mrs. Melvin (Pauline) Eastman of Westlake, La., Mrs. Clarence (Crysta) Aldrich of Sigourney; and one son, Clifford R. of Cedar Rapids.
