OXFORD JCT. - Funeral services for Mrs. Hans (Anna) Thomsen, 85, who died June 12 at the University hospitals in Iowa City, were held June 14 at St. Mark's Lutheran church with the Rev. H. Gillespie officiating. Burial was in Mayflower cemetery.

She was born Anna Clausen in Germany and came to this country as a young girl. She was married to Hans Thomsen in Lost Nation. They farmed in this area before moving to town seven years ago.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Harry of Bellevue and Erwin of Marion; two daughters, Mrs. Clifford Close of Olin and Helen Thomsen of Cedar Rapids, eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
