OXFORD JCT. - Funeral services for Mrs. Elmer (Louise) Koranda, 60, who died Tuesday evening, June 8, at her home after a long illness, were held Saturday at the Assembly of God church with Rev. Ramon Booth officiating. Burial was at Mayflower cemetery.

Mrs. Koranda was born Dec.7, 1904, near Oxford Jct., the daughter of Vince and Josephine Nowachek Burda. She married Elmer Koranda Feb. 3, 1925. They farmed most of their married life near here with the exception of eight years when they lived in Tipton.

Survivors include her husband, one son Junior of Oxford Jct., and one daughter, Mrs. Chauncey (Deloris) Moore of Tipton, five grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. AnnaRose Benhart and Mrs. Harro (Agnes) Ingwersen and one brother Fred, all of Oxford Jct.
