MONTICELLO - Mrs. Anna M. Wennekamp, widow of the late G. Henry Wennekamp, died at the Brant Nursing home in Wyoming, March 1. Funeral services will be held this afternoon (Thursday) at 1:30 o'clock from St. Matthew Lutheran church in Monticello. The Rev. Anton Kirkegaard will officiate with burial at the Wayne Zion cemetery.

Mrs. Wennekamp was born Sept. 20, 1890 near Center Jct., the daughter of Wilke and Grace Weers Husmann. She was married to G. Henry Wennekamp Dec. 15, 1910 and they made their home in Jones county until the later years when they moved to Monticello. Mr. Wennekamp preceded her in death Sept. 2, 1955. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, two grandchildren, one brother and one sister.

Survivors include five children: Mrs. Herman (Matie) Rink, Janesville, Wis.; Mrs. Albert (Anna) White, Mechanicsville; John Wennekamp, Marion, William Wennekamp, Monticello and Mrs. Herman (Martha) Steuri, Monticello.

Also surviving are 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Jack Husmann of Amber; William Husmann of Wyoming and Henry Husmann of Backus, Minn.; five sisters, Mrs. Gerd (Kate) Dirks of Wyoming; Mrs. Dena Dirks of Amber, Mrs. John F. (Matie) Dirks of Anamosa, Mrs. Owen (Louise) Conley of Anamosa and Mrs. Henry (Elvina) Rink of Monticello.

Pallbearers include Robert Husmann, John Henry Dirks, Raymond Tuetken, Donald Dirks, James Conley and Alva Husmann.
