WYOMING - Funeral service for Jacob Andrew Coppess, 78, who died Tuesday, Nov. 4, in his home at Wyoming of a cerebral hemorrhage suffered Sunday, was held in the Methodist church Friday afternoon, with Rev. F. E. Somerville in charge. Burial was in the Olin cemetery.

Mr. Coppess was born near Olin on May 11, 1869. He farmed and in the Canton vicinity. He was married to Mary Ireland in 1895. She died in 1899 and on Sept. 13, 1903, he married Maude L. Hamilton. They retired two years ago and moved to Wyoming.

Survivors are his wife, four daughters, Mrs. Gladys Barnes, Marion; Mrs. Frances Zaruba, Monmouth, and Mrs. Leila Van Sickle and Mrs. Pauline Seymer, Oxford Junction; three sons, Walter A. at home, Woodrow, Hale, and Seward, Cedar Rapids; 20 grandchildren, one great grandchild and two sisters, Mrs. Clare Woolison, Stanwood and Mrs. Flora Conley, Hopkinton.
