OXFORD JUNCTION - Funeral service for Mrs. Katherine Agnes Zak, 89, who died Wednesday, June 4, in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Bernett Dahl, Monmouth, was held Friday, June 6, in the Hayden Funeral home.

Rev. Wesley J. Buck, Lutheran church pastor, officated. Mrs. Louis Ingwersen and Mrs. Otto Koranda, accompanied by Mrs. Palmer Vaughn, pianist, sang, and Mrs. Joe Shimanek, Mrs. Vince Burda and Mrs. John Buresh had charge of flowers.

Casket bearers were Lumir Shimanek, Joseph Kropek, John Burda, F. B. Nowachek, Frank Tye and George Vacek. Burial was in Mayflower cemetery.

Mrs. Zak was born in Bohemia July 17, 1857. She is survived by three sons, Vince, Louis and John, Monmouth, and three daughters, Mrs. Henry Kalous, Savanna, Ill.; Mrs. Dahl, Monmouth, and Mrs. Ed Shimanek, Oxford Junction. Her husband died in 1935.
