OLIN - Grover C. Moreland died at his home in north Olin last Saturday, March 6, at the age of 63 years. Funeral service was held last Monday.

Mrs. Leon Stivers sang "City Four Square" and "Good Night and Good Morning" accompanied by Mrs. L. J. Rohwedder.

Casket bearers were: J. B. Pieper, Joe Sherman, Roy Williams, Harry Levsen, Earl Bixler and Parley Winchip.

Grover Cleveland Moreland was born Jan. 1, 1885. He was the youngest son of John and Rose Moreland. He was born near Dexter in Coley county, Kan., and came to Iowa in December, 1887, with his parents to a farm 4 1/2 miles southwest of Olin, where he grew to manhood.

He was married to Mabel Glick. To this union three children were born: John S. and Donald C., Olin; and Eloise, Los Angeles, Calif. Six grandchildren include: Darrel in the U.S. Army stationed in the Panama Canal Zone; two sisters and two brothers Maude Sarby, and Roy Moreland, Olin; James, Chamberlain, S.Dak., and Rachel Ashley, Mitchell, S. Dak., besides a number of cousins.
