OLIN - Funeral service for Fred Humphrey Chatterton, 80, who died Sunday, Nov. 2, was held Nov. 5 at the Campbell funeral home, with William Lunquist in charge. Music was by Earl Phillips and Mrs. L. J. Rohwedder.

Casket bearers were Don Glick, M. Burgess, Charles Bretch, John Zaruba and August Ahrendsen. Burial was in Pleasant Hill cemetery.

Mr. Chatterton, oldest son of Henry and Alice Chatterton, was born Aug. 8, 1867, near Burlington, Vt., and came to Jones county with his parents when he was two years old. He was married January 21, 1897, to May Phillips. Couple farmed in the Olin vicinity until they retired and moved to town.

He is survived by his wife; a daughter Hazel Chatterton, at home, and a brother, Ray Chatterton, Olin
