ONSLOW - Mrs. Hannah Carpenter, 90, died Wednesday of last week at the Jones county home.

Funeral service was conducted last Thursday afternoon in the Onslow Presbyterian church by Rev. J. M. Blakemore, Wyoming. Burial was made in the Clay cemetery.

Hannah Ralston was born April 8, 1857. On Jan. 25, 1879, she was married to James L. Carpenter, who with two sons preceded her in death. She is survived by four granddaughters, one grandson and a number of great grandchildren.
