Funeral service for Frank Cooper, 77, will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Smykil Home for Funerals. Mr. Cooper died Tuesday afternoon at Mercy hospital after suffering a heart attack last Saturday.

Rev. Walter D. Wigger will conduct the service. Burial will be in Cass cemetery. Mr. Cooper was a member of the Masonic and Odd Fellow lodges.

He was born Oct. 5, 1869 in Buffalo township in Linn county near Prairieburg and engaged in farming most of his life. He was married to Addie Crow in 1895 and she died the next year.

On Dec. 21, 1898 he married Celia Jackson and to this union a daughter, Mrs. Hazel Green, was born. Mrs. Cooper died April 7, 1917.

Only other survivor is a brother, Peter Cooper, Jamestown, N. Dak.
