WYOMING - Funeral service for Charles W. Eye, who died at his home six miles north of Wyoming last Thursday while he was splitting wood was held Sunday in the Carson-Balster funeral home, Maquoketa. Burial was in the Wyoming cemetery.

Mr. Eye was born May 1, 1873, son of Mr. and Mrs. Selo Eye. He always lived in the Wyoming-Onslow community. In 1897 he married Bertha Wright, who died in 1942. In 1945 he married Mrs. Lillian Sinkey, Maquoketa, who survives. Other survivors are one son, Loyle Eye, Monticello; a step-daughter, Mrs. Marjorie Holtz, Cedar Rapids, four grandchildren and one sister.

A daughter, Joyce Daniels, Cedar Rapids died in 1937 and a son, Dr. Harry Eye, Chicago, died in 1941.
