MONTICELLO - Funeral services for Mose Irvin Starks were held Thursday afternoon (today) from Goettsch funeral home. The Rev. John Benj. Wild officiated. Burial was in Oakwood cemetery, Monticello.

Mr. Starks died Feb. 23 at the Jones county home. He was born Oct. 29, 1891 in Monticello. He spent his entire life in the Monticello community, being employed by the Milwaukee railroad until retiring in 1944.

Survivors include two sons, Robert, Monticello and Richard, Springville; 19 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
