OLIN - Funeral service for Mrs. Byron Frazier, 48, who died at her home Feb. 4 following a long illness, was held Tuesday, Feb. 7, at the United Brethren church. Rev. W. T. Boston was the officiating minister. Burial was made in the Olin cemetery.. Mrs. Joe Clay and Mrs. Leon Stivers sang, accompanied at the piano by Mrs. Louis Rohwedder. Pallbearers were Leonard Norton, B. E. Switzer, Lewis Tarbox, Ray Tarbox, Jean and Richard Frazier.

Golden Marie, daughter of Samuel and Elonora Tarbox, was born Jan. 15, 1898, near Olin. Her education was received in the Olin school. April 27, 1921, she married Byron Frazier, Williamsburg. First 11 years of their married life was spent in Williamsburg. They moved to Olin in 1933, where they have lived since.

Four children, Jean, Eleanor, Richard and Joyce Elaine, were born to the union. Joyce died in infancy.

Golden joined the United Brethren church in Olin as a girl, but moved her membership to Williamsburg Presbyterian church while living there, transferring back on her return to Olin. Three sisters preceded her in death.

Surviving are her husband, three children, her parents, all of Olin; one sister, Mrs. William Custis, Anamosa; two brothers, Ray, Olin, and Lewis, Monticello; 24 nephews and nieces, five grand-nephews and nieces.
