OXFORD JCT. - Funeral services for Harold Jeffery, 61, who died Sept. 23 at his home in Lisbon after a long illness, were held Wednesday, Sept. 25, at the Lisbon Methodist church with Rev. Omar Pettersen in charge. Burial was in Mayflower cemetery, Oxford Jct., where Masonic rites were held.

He was born Jan. 4, 1902, in Oxford Jct., the son of Ambrose and Jessie Jeffery. He was married to Ethel Coon. He lived in this vicinity until a few years ago, when he moved to Cedar Rapids and later to Lisbon to be near his work. He was a member of Oxford Jct. Zealous Lodge A.F. & A.M., Order of Eastern Star and the Cedar Rapids Consistory.

Survivors include his wife of Lisbon; one son Kevin, a pilot in the Air Force located in Dover, Del.; his parents, one sister, Mrs. Harold (Sadie) Willert and one brother, Kenneth Jeffery, all of Toronto; two sisters, Mrs. Arla Haines of Detroit and Mrs. Kenneth (Mayme) Hall of Lisbon and two grandchildren.
