OXFORD JUNCTION - Funeral service for Joseph Dolezal, 61, who died Monday, April 14, after a long illness, was held Wednesday of last week in the Hayden Funeral home. Rev. Wesley J. Buck, pastor of the English Lutheran church, officiated.

Hymns were sung by Mrs. Louis Ingwersen and Mrs. Otto Koranda, accompanied by Mrs. Palmer Vaughn, pianist. Casket bearers were Fred Buresh, Fred Lasack, Frank B. Nowachek, James Homolka, John Buresh and Frank Henak. Interment was in Mayflower cemetery.

Mr. Dolezal was born Aug. 29, 1885, in Wyoming township. He was married to Emma Kostichek, and the couple farmed for many years north of Oxford Junction. They retired and came here in 1933.

He is survived by his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Grace Petersen, Oxford Junction; two brothers, Frank, Marshalltown, and James, Monmouth; and three sisters, Mrs. Joe Kropek and Mrs. John Burda, Oxford Junction, and Mrs. Emma Stykar, Chicago.

One son, Victor, preceded him in death.
