WYOMING - Byron McGuire was born in Lowdenville, Ohio, Dec. 29, 1872 and died Nov. 4, 1963. His parents were Willis and Jane Criswell McGuire.

He spent some time in Iowa and Colorado as a youth before he settled in Jones county as his permanent residence. Mr. McGuire and Miss Belle Brownell were married Feb. 19, 1902. They made their home on farms in the Wyoming area. One daughter, Etta, Mrs. George Hoffman, was born to this union. Mrs. McGuire died in 1929.

Mr. McGuire and Mrs. Della Kennedy were married Oct. 23, 1923. They retired in Wyoming after farming for several years.

He is survived by his wife and daughter along with six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. One sister, Mrs. Amanda Thomas of Ashland, Ohio also survives.

He was preceded in death by one sister and three brothers, one of whom was his twin.

Funeral services and burial were held Thursday, Nov. 7, in Wyoming.
