Funeral service was held Sunday for Charles I. Fall, 71, at the Smykil Home for Funerals. Mr. Fall died Wednesday, Dec. 5, at his home in Portland, Ore. Rev. Homer E. Dalrymple was the officiating minister and burial was made in Antioch cemetery.

Charles Irving Fall, son of John and Olive Fall, was born in Jones county, Ia., Sept. 9, 1874. In 1895 he was married to Cora Blood. Four sons and one daughter were born to the union.

Surviving are his wife, his daughter, Viola, Mrs. W. J. Smith, Portland, Ore.; three sons, Clifford, Hayward, Calif.; Arthur, Lime Springs, Ia.; and Roy, Portland, Ore.; a sister, Mrs. Minnie Mark, Cedar Rapids, Ia., five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. A son, Harlan, died at the age of seven years.

Those from a distance who attended the service included Roy Fall, Portland; Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Fall and son, Gary, Lime Springs and Mrs. Mark.
