Funeral service for WIlliam F. Schrader, 56, who died Tuesday at Mercy hospital following a short illness, will be held at two o'clock Friday afternoon at St. Paul's American Lutheran church, following a brief service at 1:30 p.m. at the Smykil Home for Funerals.. Rev. H. L. Buesing will officiate.

Burial will be made at Riverside cemetery, with Kenneth Humpal, Arthur Austin, Francis Drumbarger, Karl Eden, Edward Heeren and A. J. Handel serving as pallbearers.

William F., son of Dedrik and Minnie Schrader, was born June 7, 1889, on a farm in Jackson county. He was baptized Jan. 26, 1890, and confirmed in the Lutheran faith July 18, 1920. He attended the rural schools in Jackson county and near Onslow.

On March 7, 1917, he was married to Minnie Katherine Hansen at Clinton, Iowa. FIve children were born to the union. For a time after their marriage, Mr. and Mrs. Schrader lived at Center Junction, Onslow, Scotch Grove and Oxford Junction. They have lived in Anamosa for the last 17 years. During most of that time he has been employed at the Anamosa Poultry and Egg Co.

Surviving are his wife and children: Clarence, Anamosa; LaVerne, Knoxville; Bernice, Mrs. Alvin Brunscheen, Center Junction; June, Mrs. Kenneth Beadle, Marion; and Wilma, at home; two grandchildren, Billy Brunscheen and Garla Dee Schrader.

His mother, Mrs. Minnie Schrader, Anamosa; two brothers, John, Anamosa, and Louis, Monticello; and three sisters, Mrs. Garrett Gress, Onslow; Mrs. George Henrichs, Grantsburg, Wis.; and Mrs. Hans Petersen, Marion, also survive.
